The WAMS Lab studies longitudinal microbiome dynamics within a behavioral ecology context. Our goals are to quantify drivers of temporal and spatial variation in wild animal microbiomes; develop tools to analyze these microbial communities; and link microbial traits to host health outcomes.

To explore these questions, we work in a range of wild animal systems in British Columbia and beyond.
